We are proud that Unija ETL is among the finalists of the prestigious HR&M Project of the Year 2025!
This award highlights the best HR practices in Slovenia each year, and this year we were nominated for our Stress Test project—an innovative HR exercise that strengthens business continuity and develops leadership talent within the company. We always knew our project was exceptional, but this recognition further confirms that we are on the right track and reinforces our commitment to continuously improving our HR strategy.
About the HR&M Project of the Year Competition
The HR&M Project of the Year competition, organized by HR&M magazine, is one of the most important events in the Slovenian HR sector. Its purpose is to showcase best practices and innovations that contribute to employee development and company success. Finalists, like ETL Union, are selected from numerous submissions through a rigorous professional evaluation, which confirms the quality and impact of the projects presented.
Our Stress Test Project
The Stress Test project is a strategic HR exercise in which management temporarily hands over their responsibilities to successors for a period of 30 days. The goal is to test and strengthen independent leadership capabilities while ensuring uninterrupted business operations even during the absence of key personnel. This innovative approach develops leadership competencies, builds trust among employees, and ensures company stability.
Being a finalist in the HR&M Project of the Year 2025 is a significant recognition for us and a confirmation that our HR practices are at the highest level. We look forward to further developing projects that contribute to the company’s success and growth, as well as to employee satisfaction.

We believe we have achieved our goal—developing new leaders and allowing those temporarily replaced to enjoy a well-deserved break. At the same time, we verified the knowledge and capabilities of their successors, confirming that we chose the right people.
We are confident that the Stress Test project has also made a significant contribution to the broader HR profession. This award means a lot to us, and we are extremely proud that our company is recognized as an example of best practice. At the same time, we see this recognition as an excellent opportunity to share professional knowledge and connect the best practices across the HR industry.
